• Secret clearance or better
• C++ development experience on Unix systems (SGI IRIX or IBM AIX preferred), Sun Solaris or Linux acceptable
  
• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design
• Experience in UML preferably with Rational Rose
• Strong math/scientific programming or graphics using OpenGL.

• Candidate will implement and interpret financial concepts for reporting planning and control and perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks
• Plan, schedule, conduct and report internal EVM compliance reviews and coordinate closure of follow-up activities and corrective action plans resulting from EVM surveillance.
  
• Maintain and report EVM process metrics; review and approve changes to performance measurement baseline as required. 
• Support audits and reviews requested by program, customers, and company management. 
• Must team successfully with Government EVM auditors and other customer representatives in pursuit of common goals. 
• Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, operating forecasts, capital and investment requirements, budgets, etc.

• Design, build and maintain integrated project schedules, monitor project performance, and generate accurate and timely reports and analyses.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, status compilation for specific WBS elements within the IMP/IMS, SOW, EV performance, measurement, schedule configuration control, schedule data analysis and reporting.
  

• Lead/manage the system-level verification effort from program start through completion. 
  
• Define and manage the verification effort at the system level.
  
• Oversee creation of the verification documentation during all verification activities for end-to-end integration of a spacecraft system. 
  
• Candidate will have good, hands-on hardware or software background. 
  
• Human space-flight systems engineering experience is a plus.

• Provide technical support for funded studies and proposals in the area of Command and Data Handling Subsystems.
• Develop digital electronics for satellite and interplanetary applications.
• Lead an engineering team in the development and delivery of electronic components, including: scope definition, cost, & schedule.
• Serve as primary point of contact for Program & Functional Mgmt Lead architectural trades spanning design from system, component & board levels.
